OPEN BRACKET PLAY RESULTS

Lone Peak High School, Utah Ultimate Disc Association (UUDA), Ultimate Play, Utah Wild, and Salt Lake Shred are delighted to make the 2024 tournament the most competitive so far!

Lone Peak Invitational is a 7v7 high school ultimate tournament for Open and Girls teams to compete against some of the best teams in the country. It is not uncommon for nationally ranked teams to travel to Utah for this event.

• Out of state teams can request accommodations with local host families to reduce travel expenses. Please indicate if your team needs lodging accommodations in the Comments/Questions section at the bottom of the Bid Form.
• Streaming equipment (tall tripod, software) and streaming service (via YouTube or Facebook) will be provided by Apollo Streams for all out of state teams. This guarantees family and friends who don’t travel with the teams won’t miss out on any of the action. Videos of games will also be made available, post-tournament. 
  • Teams wishing to use this service must provide extra battery chargers and someone to operate the equipment. Set up is easy and operating streaming software is very intuitive. 
• We hope to have two divisions for both Open and Girls to ensure competitive games for all teams. The top division will feature some of the strongest Open and Girls teams in the west; the lower division is perfect for new or growing programs. 

Lone Peak Invitational planners and participants will fully respect and support diversity, equity, and inclusion. The organizers are committed to creating an open, respectful, and safe playing environment for all attendees. Our tournament has adopted the same standards for diversity, equity, and inclusion as HSNI. There will be zero tolerance for disrespect or misconduct towards any player, parent, fan, or coach who would be our guest. All expectations and policies will be distributed with team information in advance of the tournament.

A limited number of teams will be accepted. Out of state teams competing in top divisions will be the first teams awarded bids. Utah based teams and lower division teams will be awarded bids to complete the field. 

Games begin Friday morning. Championship bracket play is on Saturday. Teams should arrive on Thursday.

Bid deadline: January 12th 2024

Tournament fees: Open $450, Women’s $400

We will make arrangements with three hotels willing to offer us discount blocks of rooms for LPI. 

Teams in the past have successfully used VRBO and AirBNB to house lots of players under one roof. 

Travel in and out of SLC International Airport is easy and fields will be located less than an hour from the airport.
