Ultimate Frisbee, or Ultimate is not the same as Disc Golf. Ultimate is a fast moving sport where a disc is advanced up a field by passing it between teammates. The objective is to catch a thrown disc in the end zone for a goal. The field set up is narrower than American football but in most respects is very similar. Ultimate takes elements from soccer, basketball, and football and combines them into a game that is simple to learn and insanely addicting.

The best way to learn is to come to a practice! Our coaches and players love sharing this amazing sport. Hope to see you on the fields soon!
We DO have some very competitive teams and it's not uncommon for our top teams to compete for (and win!) national championship titles. However, unlike most Lone Peak sports, there IS a place for EVERYONE. There are NO CUTS in the Lone Peak Ultimate program. If you want to play, we will have a team for you.
We also take great pride in developing our players by giving them opportunities to become as great of an Ultimate player as they want. Some just want to play for fun--we have a team for that. Others want to compete at the highest level in high school Ultimate--we have a team for that, too.
Yes! One of our favorite things to do is to teach new players this great sport. If you arrive to practice with little to no experience, we will make sure you're set up with an experienced player, captain, or coach to walk you through the fundamentals of the game.
We're here to teach! Our coaches and players love working with brand new players. Please come to a few practices. You'll be amazed at how much you can improve in a short period of time.
