At halftime of a Salt Lake Shred game in Summer of 2022, Dave Kroupa, our beloved founder of Lone Peak Ultimate, was named:
Utah Ultimate Playmaker
by the Utah Ultimate Disc Association.
Thanks for everything Coach Kroupa! We wouldn't be here without you!

This team has lived up to expectations and played with a freedom and confidence borne of experience under the brightest lights. With an impressive 32-3 record going into HSNI, this boys team posted wins against then ranked #2 Amherst as well as three other New England teams. This team was Lone Peak Invitational 2023 Champions and runner up in Utah States.
The season was capped with a repeat at HSNI! Back-to-back national championships for your Lone Peak Boys! This marks the first time a boys team has ever repeated as national champs. "Lone Peak reaches the peak again! It's two peaks for the repeat, for Lone Peak!"
This team really came on strong at the end of the season. With hard fought games against several top twenty teams in the Lone Peak Round Robin in western Massachusetts, these girls have grown in experience and in togetherness. With a victory over #10 ranked Green Canyon in Utah States and two goal loss to #9 ranked Lower Merion (PA), the girls team peaked at just the right time.
At HSNI, the girls entered the tournament as the 15th seed. With pool play wins over Northwest (WA) and Newton North (PA), the girls played their way into the championship bracket and took home a 6th place finish. No other team at HSNI 2023, boys or girls, finished higher compared to initial seeding.
These boys play more like they are family. They've got each other's backs on and off the field. The 2021 Fall Season had both Lone Peak Boys teams play each other in the state finals. 2022 Spring Season resulted in another Utah State Championship and the program's first National Championship at HSNI in Richmond, Virginia! Led by 14 seniors, this group of boys was incredibly special posting a 31-1 record with its only loss coming to #3 ranked BYU Chi Men's team.
In Spring of 2022 the Lone Peak Girls continued to excel. These rockstars placed 5th in the nation at High School National Invitationals and scored more goals on the eventual championship team than anyone else! We couldn't be prouder of this team!
